This project is being constructed on land previously part of the Mayflower Theatre site, the sale of which has funded an extension and modifications to the Theatre. The development of 115 flats is a mix of affordable rent and shared ownership tenures. The creation of a new scene dock and office space to the theatre enabled land to the rear and side of the theatre to be developed for much needed city centre housing. The adjacent theatre and adjoining housing are both listed so the scheme called for a considerate and sensitive design which we believe has been achieved.
